About Joe Dassin
Growing up in New York to French parents, Joe Dassin moved around throughout his childhood, first around the US, then across Europe, back to the US, then to Europe again. It was in France that a record label talked Joe Dassin into recording his songs, which he did in many languages he has learned along the way, among them German, Spanish, Italian, Greek, French and English, of course.
